PAYMENT
METHOD.
All Windshields require prepayment with a money order or
cashiers check and are non cancellable non returnable
orders. Personal & Company checks OK too. Any form of
payment other than a wire transfer can delay shipment up
to 14 days. You can also get a money order at your bank
on your charge card. Our bank charges about $18 to
receive a wire transfer and your bank will probably
charge as well.
DELIVERY
or PICKUP. Add
charge of $118-140 for packing and delivery within the
'48 states. Please inquire for other states, countries.
One of our drivers may be able to meet you locally
with bare glass (call 5 days in advance). Cost for this
service is $20.
SHIPPING
DATE.
Windshields we stock here are normally shipped within
7-10 days of the order.
HANDLING
WINDSHIELDS.
Handle with non-slip gloves; rubber tipped are best.
Glass has the capability of destroying your hand. Curved
glass, ESPECIALLY the 63-67 1/2, has an EXTREME
likelihood of cracking if you set it on a table top with
the curved ends pointing downward. Set it down with the
middle flat section touching the table and the curves
pointing skyward. Any force applied to the curves can
CRACK the glass. Have a PROFESSIONAL do your installation
as you can snap a windshield easily by not knowing the
tricks. If you or your installer purchases and breaks a
windshield, for ANY reason, it is your loss not ours. We
did not design or manufacture these windshields. There is
no warranty on breakage, chipping, scratching, marring,
etc. etc. NONE.
RECEIVING
GLASS FROM CARRIER.
Open in their presence and inspect glass carefully. If
damaged and driver wants to take it don't give up glass
or packing without a legibly signed receipt. You can ask
the particular driver for the phone number of their
damage claims department and I would suggest calling them
while driver is there. Follow their instructions to the
letter and contact us immediately as well by fax, email,
or phone. Not following the shipper's instructions can
void your claim. They will most likely arrange a time to
meet you and the package to inspect it. More info on
