The
63-67.5 cars all have both of these pieces. The small
spacer sits inside the bigger piece and is hidden.
NOTE: It is normal for the inner large edge on the big
trim to get roughed up in use. That and whatever
scratches it has picked up over the flat surface you
would have to buff out. This is part of the work of
RESTORING a car as opposed to REPLACING a car.
A
lot of things like this are hard to see on the car but
if held in your hand look bad. Bumpers are probably
the worst; people can complain about gouges you
couldn't see unless the car was on a hoist; but that
is how the cars CAME. Like the part of the vent frames
that were INSIDE the door; why would they spend time
polishing those before chroming them?
