USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK; THEY ARE USED SPRINGS

The 440-07U is the spring used on the top position (brake adjuster) on all 63-70 cars.

The 440-08U is the most common spring used on the wheel cylinder position (bottom). The 63-67 cars came with a shorter spring; 440-06U. Nissan began manufacturing these in an even shorter version in the 80s with a smaller wire coil size (440-06). I believe both of the shorter springs were designed for the old style brake shoes that I think have different positioning of the spring hook holes. Many early cars have had the later shoes put on and many later cars have had the early shoes installed. Eventually I'll have a picture up of the two styles of shoes and maybe that will shed some more light. Until then; measure your old springs. If one end is broken off just measure one half of the spring from the middle to the good end and double that figure.
