Original Softop Latches, these were also used on some hardtops (especially "Snugtops" which were built by Custom Hardtops in Long Beach CA.) These have one or two extra holes drilled in them probably by someone who became frustrated at not being able to stop them from rattling. This adjustment procedure (getting all latches equally tight) is sometimes tricky, but drilling holes is NOT necessary. |
