Tank is the same on all 65-67 cars. Most 1600s have a different bracket than this, that mounts on the horizontal portion of the inner fender. The 1500 bracket shown above is designed to mount on the more vertical part of the inner fender. You'll have to find something to use as a fitting in the center of the cap.
