KNOB
SCREW INFO
There
are two different screws that are used on the majority of
roadster knobs, on the switches etc where the knob screws
into the switch rod and does not screw into the knob
itself.
Generally
the type 1 screw was used up to and including 1968 model
cars, the Type 2 was used on 1969 and 1970
cars.
If
you have both screws in your hand you can tell them apart
by the head. The later type has more of a flat head than
the earlier type.
In
some cases it is possible your car may have a newer or
older switch on it, or that the threads have been
previously damaged so neither of these screws will
work.
