These
harnesses, although "new" have each had an idiot cut off one
of the plugs on each harness. The tape on the hood harness
has also been partially removed, as shown in picture. Sooner
or later I'll be forced to fix these myself, but thought I'd
put them up for sale as is to see if I could remove one of
the multi-thousand things on my "to-do"list. I have included
the appropriate plug-in which you can use in the repair.
USING
THESE ON 70 1600.
Can be used on a 70 1600 if you run the temp sender wire out
to the other side of the engine. Does not have the wiring
for the extra smog valve on the intake manifold of a 70 1600
so you can only use it if if you aren't going to be hooking
up your intake manifold smog valve.
USING
THESE ON 69 2000
Can be used on a 69 2000 or 1600 if you already have a later
car with the 4 prong starter motor harness. You would have
to purchase a 4 prong starter harness if you want to use
this pair on an earlier 69 1600 or 2000. The 70 uses a
different plug-in configuration on the backup wires as
well.
