This
is one of the mirrors Nissan used in the mid 60's. I've seen
old pictures of it on 65 and newer roadsters. This shape
mirror did not come on USA 68-70's unless the dealer ordered
a right hand mirror from the parts book! (Then the car would
have had mismatched shaped mirrors!) This is called a
"convex" mirror. The more common name for this type of
mirror is "fish eye". It provides a wider range of coverage
than a typical mirror it's size. Single bolt and one peg
mount, can be mounted on fender or door depending on which
position works best for you. Some people run use this with
the mirror head in the "up" position, when mounted on doors
the mirror is usually twisted down so it is lower. Whichever
you like! There were quite a few mirrors used on the
roadster, this is by far the most graceful
looking.
