The original starter harness, which was about 16.5 inches long, has become expensive, and/or unavailable at times. If you would like another option, you may be able to use the 65-67.5 harness which is identical except it is about 10 inches long. Length is measured from tip of plastic plug to farthest part of round copper wire "eye" on other end. You can take a string and do a measurement to see if you can make the shorter do the job for you. You can also cut the harness and put an extension in it's middle as well. Have your mechanic do this if you aren't familiar with the proper way to make such an extension.
