Picture on right compares length 233-04 Remanufactured Starter (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" to 233-07 New Starter at bottom (5 3/4"). Either will work with headers. Some of the original starters were 8 1/2" to 9 1/2" l ong! Length refers to distance between mounting flange and rear of starter. This would correspond to the length you see when starter is mounted to engine. |
