Comes
setup from the remanufacturer for the 68-70 2000 with
Emission Controls. Can be used to solve the problem of a
typical worn unit that has a bad shaft,bushings,point
plate etc.
Can
be used on a non smog 2000 distributor by using your old
distributor cam and springs. A non smog distributor
vacuum advance also works better. If you purchase a
distributor from us long ago or a kit your advance has
already been changed.
Can
be used on a 1600 with your old vacuum advance or you can
put some rubber vacuum line on this vacuum advance and
run it to your hookup below your rear carb. Again this
has the original smog advance curve which was deadly to
so many cars (overheating and poor running as the
original advance worked correctly for a VERY short period
of time)
Can
be used to replace an original 1500 distributor if you
also get an advance kit; as your old advance parts will
not work on this; it uses the same more modern parts that
our other distributors use; so replacement parts are
easier to get.
