Originally on 63 1500's and on later1500s and 1600's destined for areas not subject to crankcase emission requirements. Cap sits up off of valve cover and has a screened vented area on the underside. Engines that used this also had crankcase vent tube in place of the freeze plug in the left rear of the engine block. |
