To use this in a area that has crankcase blowby pollution capture requirements (like the USA) you also need to use the high tower cap that includes the hose fitting #152-01. You then connect the fitting below the cap to the air cleaner. The cars that did not have such a pollution requirement (non USA) used either the chrome (#152-19) or painted cap (#152-18) that contained a crankcase breather screen built into it. Cars that originally came wth this cover also had breathing tube #152-12 installed in place of the rear most freeze plug behind and to the rear of the carbs; unless they were run with the high tower cap and vent tube described above.
